Sound#Hack (2015), co-produced with Ideas Test at the University of Kent, Chatham

SPARKEDECHO is a Kent-based producing company working on curious projects in music and sound. We produce our own artistic work and collaborate with others, including Ideas Test, The Hip Hop Orchestra and The Opera House Next Door. We also provide creative business workshops and advice to clients including Mid Kent College, British and Irish Modern Music Institute and the Deutsche Bank Awards for Creative Enterprises.

SPARKEDECHO was born in 2015, after founders Kevin Grist and Janet Moore decided to move from their careers in music fundraising and fashion, to set up a company that encouraged innovation in the arts. As a not for profit, our mission is to pioneer groundbreaking programming in music and sound that benefits audiences from all backgrounds.

At SPARKEDECHO, or approach to creative projects is always professional and based on a few good values:

Integrity is at the heart of everything we do. We are honest, ethical and upfront. Trust is at the foundation of relationships with our creative partners and audiences.

We respect everyone at every level. We support diversity in the arts and work tirelessly to ensure people from all backgrounds can access our work.

A steadfast commitment to excellence.  We foster innovative ideas and creativity, with an experienced team who make those ideas a reality.

We hold ourselves to a very high standard. We never stop asking how we can make the audience experience better.

We take responsibility for our actions. We support one another and strive to never let the audience— or our creative partners — down.
